It's called "Divine Dough" for a reason.

We are all a combination of body and soul. When we take ordinary bread –– a mixture of flour, water and eggs –– and pray, we elevate the ordinary, making it holy.

When we make bread and pray we create an opening to heaven. The opening creates space for G-d to enter our homes and our hearts. But most of all it creates a portal for G-d to feel our tears and hear our prayers.

Imagine hundreds of women, braiding challah and praying at the exact same time. Consider the ripple effect of this happening in cities across the world? The spiritual punch this would pack, this chorus of holiness, would certainly be enough the capture the ear of G-d in a very tumultuous world.

Let's braid bread to bring #JesseGalganov home. Let's Rise For Jesse.

Donations: $18.

100% of proceeds will go to The Missing Children's Network's Jesse Galganov Fund.

About Jewels for Jesse Event

It has been 3 months since Jesse Galganov disappeared in Peru, but it feels more like an eternity. With time, the limelight on this story has begun to wane. But Jesse is still not home. We put Jesse story on The Empathy Effect when he disappeared. But Todd Galganov and Alisa Clamen need more than our empathy. They need our action.
Through Jewels for Jesse, you can help in three ways:
    1. Come to our Jewels for Jesse event on January 1 in midtown Toronto. Not local? Purchase online at kimsmiley.com. We will give 20% of all sales to Réseau Enfants-Retour / The Missing Children's Network.
    1. Buy a Raffle: Tickets are $20 for a $200 Gift Certificate. Buy as many tickets as you like. We will send 100% of the money to Jesse's Fund.
    1. Purchase an Empathy Pledge pin. Already have an Empathy pin? Pay it forward and get them for your family & friends. We will donate 100% of proceeds to Jesse's Fund from now till January 5. Buy your pin in person or online: http://bit.ly/EmpathyPledge
As we stand at the threshold of a New Year, please take a moment to put Jesse's family in your prayers. Not interested in jewelry or a pin? Consider making a gift to The Jesse Galganov Fund. No amount is too small: http://bit.ly/FindJesse

Help Us Find Jesse

Montreal native Jesse Galganov, 22, has been missing in Peru since September 28, 2017. Jesse was hiking in the Peruvian mountains in what was to be an 8-month backpacking trip. His family has been desperately searching for him since he went missing without a trace. After weeks in Peru coordinating search efforts, the family enlisted renowned Israeli search-and-rescue company, Magnus International. Magnus has decades of experience locating missing people in remote places around the world. The family is offering a $10,000 Reward for information to Jesse being found. Please send any tips to helpusfindjesse@gmail.com. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/missing-childrens-network-canada/p2p/JesseGalganovFund/
